Made In The Shade – Walk, Run and Roll!

Made in the Shade (MITS) is a non-competitive fundraising walk, that benefits TSE and six other local nonprofit partners, raising money for those living with disabilities. Made in the Shade is an annual celebration of relationships, fundraising and community building that makes a difference for hundreds of people served by TSE and our partner organizations.

Made in the shade 2023 has been scheduled for September 16th 2023! at Thomas Beach on the south end of Lake Bde Maka Ska!

Many thanks to all of who have participated in this great event to help TSE raise funds to support TSE’s expanding life enrichment opportunities and to help us to fund and further new and fun community enrichment opportunities at TSE!

Made in the Shade was a great opportunity for people to come out, have fun & support people with disabilities.

TSE’s mission… “Enriching lives through employment and community connections”. TSE provides Training, Support, and Employment for people with developmental and other intellectual disabilities.  We have a proud tradition of excellence that dates to 1961.  Our professional staff provide personalized supports for the people served by TSE from finding, supporting, and maintaining employment to learning day-to-day living skills. TSE serves individuals with a wide range of disabilities with a variety of interests and needs.  TSE has grown to support over 300 individuals in four training sites and at over 100 community businesses throughout the Metro area. Your contributions allow us to continue this great work.
