Made In The Shade – Walk, Run and Roll!

Many thanks to all who walked, ran, rolled, volunteered or donated to the 25th anniversary of Made in the Shade!

There were approximately 700 who participated at the non-competitive fundraiser at Lake Calhoun on Saturday, September 16, 2017.  It was uplifting to see so many people in their orange shirts making their way around the lake, and the mood was positive and exciting. We even had some Super Heros there to welcome and encourage everyone to do their best. Thanks Batman, Spider Man and Princess Leah for taking time from their busy schedules to visit us!

TSE was proud to have two persons served submit entries to the art contest. One piece of art made it through the first cut of over 40 entries! Congratulations to everyone who submitted entries which truly illustrated the event!

We were fortunate to have 5 GAP volunteers assist us with many of the details.  Thank you so much Gap Rosedale and Maplewood for helping to support TSE!  Many thanks to all the other volunteers; you helped make the event run smoother!

Many thanks to all of you who actively participated in this great event to help TSE raise funds to support TSE’s expanding life enrichment opportunities and to help us to fund and further new and fun community enrichment opportunities at TSE! Made in the Shade was a great opportunity for people to come out, have fun & support people with disabilities.
