Will be celebrating its 25th anniversary this year on Sept 16th again, at beautiful Lake Calhoun in Mpls. Please join us as we raise funds for TSE! This is a fun, non-competitive charity event on a 3 mile trail around the lake. TSE is expanding life enrichment opportunities for individuals that we support. Donations of any size are accepted and appreciated. Made in the Shade is a great opportunity for you to come out, have fun and support people with disabilities supported by TSE. Be with hundreds of people with the same goal – to fundraise for the organization of your choice (TSE of course!)
The day starts at 9:30 am at Thomas Beach with registration and breakfast snacks. There will be a brief program at 10:00 am, followed by a warm up session led by trainers from The Firm. Then, the walk, run and roll starts. After walking, all are invited to lunch with of grilled hamburgers with all the fixing’s. We will have some super guests there as well. At Noon the event will wrap up with a sing along with The Moss Piglets.

TSE’s mission… “Enriching lives through employment and community connections”. TSE provides Training, Support, and Employment for people with developmental and other intellectual disabilities. We have a proud tradition of excellence that dates to 1961. Our professional staff provide personalized supports for the people served by TSE from finding, supporting, and maintaining employment to learning day-to-day living skills. TSE serves individuals with a wide range of disabilities with a variety of interests and needs. TSE has grown to support over 300 individuals in four training sites and at over 100 community businesses throughout the Metro area. Your contributions allow us to continue this great work. Monies donated will be used for our underfunded Transportation Department which provides almost one million miles of transportation miles per year for our persons served.
