The 24th annual Made In The Shade Walk, Run & Roll for People with Disabilities was a great success!
It was a perfect day for a walk, the temps were in the 60s and the rain held off. There were approximately 800 people gathered to help the 10 non-profit organizations that hosted this great event.
The funds raised will go toward purchasing additional vehicles for our service
s and to increase community integration opportunities for the individuals we serve.
We had 3 persons served artwork voted as “The Final 15” finalists in the Art Contest. Although they did not have the maj
ority of votes of participants at the event, all who submitted artwork are winners in our hearts and minds, and all were honored to be chosen to represent TSE.
We hope to see you at next year’s walk, the 25th Anniversary of Made in the Shade which will be held on Saturday, September 16, 2017!
Here’s the video from 2015! It’s a very fun day!
