TSE held our Awards Celebration and Annual Meeting on June 28th at Jimmy’s Catering in Vadnais Heights. “Entertainment 2017” got the crowd going with two solo songs; a lovely ensemble of saxophone, piano and flute a play “Hallelujah”; a harmonica version of “Ode to Joy”; and TSE’s Super Signers signed and sang “Celebration”.
Jamison Randall, Chairperson of TSE’s Board of Directors and Lynne Megan, TSE President and CEO were flawless as the two emcees, providing background information, insight and humor throughout the evening.
We honored those who have uniquely and positively supported TSE over the past year. Awards presented were: Recognition of TSE Consumer Advisory Committee, In House Worker, Contract Employer, Vigen Mentor, TSE Good Neighbor, Independent Community Worker, Enclave Worker, Community Enclave, Community Employer, Professional, and the Kay Zwernik Distinguished Leadership.
TSE employee Mamadou Ka created a memorable video of each of our award honorees. The awards ceremony was filled with emotion as the touching recipient’s stories were shared by those who nominated them, and of course all the recipients were touched and grateful for the acknowledgement.
TSE’s “Bloom” weavers sold some of their beautiful runners and scarves at the event as well. Please stop by the office to see some of their creations on display!
Many thanks to all who volunteered for this annual and amazing event. Our sincere appreciation to those who nominated, filmed, interviewed, organized and helped execute the evening are invaluable to TSE. We could not have done this without the help of TSE’s dedicated volunteers!
TSE is fortunate to have so many wonderful people to work with and appreciate!
